1tablespoonseedless fruit jelly (I use strawberry)
2dashesbitters(preferably fruit flavored)
Prevent your screen from going dark
Add the peanut butter whiskey and the jelly to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Top with a couple of dashes of bitters.
Shake vigourously for 60 seconds.
Pour over ice into a rocks glass, or strain into a martini glass.
To fully infuse the peanut butter whiskey with the jelly it is important to vigorously shake the cocktail for 60 seconds.Alternatively, you can turn the jelly into a simple syrup which mixes more easily with the liquor. Mix equal parts jelly and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Once it starts to boil, turn the burner off and whisk until the jelly has completely dissolved. Allow the syrup to cool completely, then add 1 ounce of the syrup to the cocktail shaker.
