Creamy Pesto Salad Dressing

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup (118 ml) mayonnaise
  • ½ cup (118 ml) buttermilk
  • ¼ cup (62 grams) basil pesto
  • 1 tablespoon (14.79 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 (3 grams) small garlic clove ½ teaspoon minced
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.5 grams) salt
  • ¼ teaspoon (0.5 grams) black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place all of the ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until fully combined. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
    ½ cup mayonnaise, ½ cup buttermilk, ¼ cup basil pesto, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 small garlic clove, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Notes

Yield: Just over one cup
Storage: Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for 5 days.
