Creamy  Six-Cheese Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

1. Cook the pasta in a boiling salted water until al dente.

2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour. Stir continuously for 1 minute.

3. Pour the half and half slowly while whisking continuously.

4. Stir the mixture often and cook until it thickens.

5. Add the spiced and cheddar-jack cheese blend, stir until completely melted.

6. Pour the mixture over the noodles and mix until completely coated.

7. Layer the pan with half the noodles, and half the cheese, and top with the remaining macaroni.

8. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top and bake.

Recipe Variations

– Cook and chop 12 ounces of bacon. Stir half into the macaroni and sprinkle the half over the top. – Cook 1 pound of Italian sausage.  – Stir 6 ounces of cooked lobster into the pasta and top other 6 ounces.
