Loose Meat Sandwich

What is a Loose Meat Sandwich

This sandwich is made with finely crumbled seasoned ground beef on a toasted bun.  You may also know it as a tavern sandwich, Nu-Way, Maid Rite, or steamer!


1. Brown the ground beef and break into crumbles.

2. Add in the remaining ingredients.

3. Simmer for 20 minutes.

4. Toast the buns.

Add Favorite Toppings

This sandwich is traditionally served with just pickles but you can also add: Cheese Ketchup Mustard Onions Other Veggies
