Prime Day is here, and I went ahead and did the digging so you don't have to.
If you've shopped Prime Day before, you know what to expect: the same kind of pricing you'd see on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, just in the middle of summer. There's a lot to sort through, so I went through and picked some of my favorite products in a few different categories, to make things easier for you.
A few things I'm genuinely excited about right now:
- The baking pans that I use every day are on a crazy sale. I am stocking up on sizes that I don't yet have.
- The cooking thermometer that I never cook meat without using.
- The only pens I use (and my kids keep stealing).
- I got this for Christmas and it was a game changer.
- And I found a 50" TV at a price worth flagging.
If I could only buy one thing...

I've bought hundreds, of not thousands of things off of Amazon this past year and this one is hands down my favorite purchase. I've had other robot vacuums that were more frustrating than helpful, but this thing saves my sanity! See the Robovac.
How I shop a sale like this
If you've done Prime Day before, skip ahead to the the rest of my favorite things because you probably have your own system down. If this is new to you, here's what works for me.
- Make your list first. I keep a running note of what we need for the year: upcoming birthdays, summer projects, a few things for the house, and a couple of things for myself. Shopping with that list in hand keeps me from buying whatever catches my eye, instead of what I actually need. Search the categories below, or leave a comment and I'll dig around for you.
- Check for coupons before you check out. This is the easiest savings to miss. Plenty of items have a clickable coupon box right on the product page that takes off an extra percentage. That standing desk, already marked way down, knocks off an additional 15% once you click the coupon.
- Shop ahead. I treat this like Black Friday. Because my family list is already made, I know exactly what to grab for the upcoming birthdays and the gifts I'll want later in the year. Electronics and televisions tend to hit their best prices of the year during this sale, so it's a smart time to stock up.
- Use the waitlist. If a deal sells out, click the "waitlist" button. If someone cancels or leaves the item sitting in their cart, you'll get a notification when it opens back up. One heads-up: every price I post is accurate when I post it, but these move fast and can change without warning.
Not a Prime Member Yet?
You'll need a Prime membership to see the deals. Amazon runs a free 30-day trial, so you can sign up, shop the sale, and decide later whether you want to keep it.
Now for the good stuff...
WANT TO SAVE THIS RECIPE?

See the whole collection of my kitchen favorites on Prime Day, by going to my curated collection. Or if big lists overwhelm you, here are my top picks:
I've got this rice cooker in my cart right now. My friend Sarah says it is her most used kitchen item. She uses it for making and reheating rice, as well as cooking quinoa, oatmeal, and other grains.
I use this meat cooker every time I make cook ground beef or sausage. It makes the crumbles the perfect size.
I've had this blender system for a couple of years now. My family uses it almost daily for smoothies and protein drinks. It crushes ice superbly!
I've curated Prime Day finds for electronics, beauty, home and more. You can go straight to a category by clicking on the corresponding image below, or get them all on my Prime Days storefront.
I'm excited about the deals still coming over the next two days. Leave a comment if there's something specific on your list and I'll research it for you. I'll keep the Amazon folders updated as I find new deals, so check back for more!
